This will automatically signal the furnace to start. 14. Furnace main burners should light shortly after you set the thermostat. After you verify that the burners are lit, you may adjust the room thermostat to your own personal com- fort setting.
Some thermostats have a “fan” switch with 2 selections: AUTO or ON. When set on AUTO, the furnace blower cycles on and off, controlled by the thermostat. In the ON position, the furnace blower runs continuously except for a 45-sec delay at the “call for heat.’’...

Reset the switch by pushing the button located on top of the switch (see page 3 for switch location). If the switch trips a second time, turn off the furnace and call for service. If your furnace still fails to operate, call your servicing dealer for troubleshooting and repairs.
