OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Filling the water tank
Remove the nebulizer lid (1) and the nebulizing cup (1.1÷1.6).
Pour fresh water in the tank (2) up to the red water mark (3) (let the floater float freely up to the upper rim).
2. Placing the medication in the nebulizing cup
Measure the medication dose shown on your prescription label as instructed by your physician, and place it into the
nebulizer cup (1.3).
Put the nebulizing cup (1.1) back, making sure that it snugly fits the groove (10) running along the upper part of the
nebulizer, and close the nebulizer lid (1).
3. Connections
Connect the steam delivery tube (19) to the nebulizer lid (1.1).
A mouth piece or a mask can be used, depending on the applications and the physician's instructions.
4. Switching on the device
Before switching on the nebulizer please check the following:
the water level in the tank (3) checking the water level indicator (9)
a)
the solution to nebulize must be included in the medication cup (1.5) in the quantity established by the Doctor.
b)
Close the lid of the nebulizer (1.1) and connect the mask to the corrugated tube (19).
Turning the knob "Nebulizing" (7) clockwise, the light is on.
The red light "Water alarm" (9) is on when the water level in the tank (3) is insufficient.
The steam amount can be increased by turning the "Nebulizing" knob (7) clockwise.
The amount of nebulized product can be further increased by turning on the "Fan" knob of the supplementary fan
(4).
5. Water change
In case of continuous use, it is necessary to change the water in the tank quite often, in order to ensure an
appropriate nebulization. It is important to change the water also after every utilization cycle, to increase the life of
the transducers (6).
After each treatment, it is necessary to empty the tank, then use some cotton to remove the residual water and
water deposits from the transducer (6).
Make sure no hard objects touch or hit the transducer.
6. Sterilization and cleaning of the nebulizing cup
To sterilize and clean the nebulizing cup, take apart the upper part (1) from its base.
Wash the cup's casing (3).
Use the soaking sterilization system. Do not use high temperature sterilization systems.
