For this, the Proba is removed from the normal controller mode and placed in a test mode. The statuses of the inputs and outputs can be read and certain outputs can be put into another setting in order to be able to test these outputs.

    In order to change the Modbus settings, it is necessary to log in separately. The username and password for this are not the same as the login details for the web page. Contact VDH products for the correct login details. 5.4.1 Modbus profiles A profile must first be created.

    5.5 Service 5.5.1 Proba 5 compact parameters Besides using VASP, you can also change the parameters of the PROBA 5 Compact using a web page. After changing a parameter, you must click Set. This applies to every parameter that you change.

    Version: 1.0 5.5.3 Change time settings You can define the time zone and the date and time of the PROBA 5 Compact. It is important that these have been set correctly. An incorrect setting can lead to no registration data being available in VASP.

    5.5.4 Change network settings You can adapt the network settings of the PROBA 5 Compact on this web page. Besides a fixed IP address, it is also possible to set the controller to DHCP. This only works if there is a DHCP server active on the network.

Sometimes, however, it is necessary to execute a hard reset. You can do this by temporarily powering down the controller but also by clicking Reboot controller.

    Then, if a new controller needs to be installed, this backup file can be used to quickly reinstall the configuration. If multiple PROBA 5 Compact controllers have been installed on the network, you can also copy the configuration of another PROBA to this controller.
