TECHNICAL INFORMATION
General
"AL-KO SAFETY PREMIUM" is effective against
the following unauthorised operations:
a) Decoupling from the towing vehicle
b) Coupling to a different towing vehicle
c) Removal of the trailer hitch ball coupling from
the trailer

Additional security "AL-KO safety ball"
To prevent unauthorised towing of the trailer, e.g.
by inserting a hook into the trailer hitch ball cou-
pling, we recommend using the "AL-KO safety
ball" (6) .
Couple this to the ball hitch coupling on the un-
attached trailer before installation of "AL-KO SA-
FETY PREMIUM".
The "AL-KO safety ball" is available in the access-
ories trade. Order no.: 605305
INSTALLATION
Preparation before installation
AK 160 / AK 300 / AKS 1300
Check the bellows
General:
When using the anti-theft device, do not
attach the bellows over the fixing screws
of the trailer hitch ball coupling.
a) Other than an AL-KO overrun hitch:
Check the bellows!
If the bellows goes over the trailer hitch
ball coupling, then check with the manu-
facturer regarding possibly shortening or
replacing it.
