What support is available for the Cisco ESW 500 Series?

Cisco ESW 500 Series is supported by the Cisco Small Business Support Center. The Small
Business Support Center is staffed with experienced technicians, trained in the needs of small
business customers and VAR partners. In addition, the Cisco Small Business Support
Community is a collaborative space where you can gather and share knowledge about small-
business networking and communications.

Due to the richness of the enhanced warranty, there are no additional service programs
available for purchase.

Are Cisco ESW 500 Series Switches covered by Cisco SMARTnet

No. With the introduction of the Small Business products, Cisco has launched a new support
model and service. All Small Business Pro products are supported by Cisco Small Business
Support Center. This includes:
Small product service: Device-level support that is sold by Cisco partners and provided by
a Cisco Small Business Technical Assistance Center (TAC) team.
Partner phone support: Entitled partner-only phone support for presales and installation
questions.
Support community: A new Web 2.0 community for resellers and customers, with
