www.pce-group-europe.com Operation Before using the flap cover the prism has to be cleaned carefully. Now dip 1-2 drops of the liquid on the prism. When you close the prism the sample will spread between the cover and prism. To place the sample on the main prism you can use a pipette.

www.pce-group-europe.com Calibration (please note: avoid skin- and eye contact with the calibration solution) Please clean this instrument before using the calibration solution. Open the daylight plate and add 2-3 drops sugar solution 58%-90% (available at the pharmacy) on the prism. Now press the little glass plate (delivered in brown paper) on top of the solution.
