E ngine Oil Level Check
The best tim e to check the engine oil
level is when the oil is warm, such as
during a fuel stop. With the vehicle on
level ground, stop the engine and wait
a few minutes fo r the oil to drain back
to the oil pan.
Wipe the dipstick clean before check­
ing.
Add oil, if needed, only to
the upper mark (max). Do
not overfill the engine.
