Batty Sock and Stocking Aid

Intended Uses
• To compensate for a disability by helping a
person put on socks or stockings without
unnecessary bending at the waist or hips
Assembly
The Brevetti Sock and Stocking Aid (AA4666)
comes fully assembled.
The Batty Sock and Stocking Aid (AA4664)
consists of the following components:
• c ollar (labelled A in the drawing)
• a ngled section (B)
• m iddle section (C) with two locking
levers (F)
• h andle (D)
• s hoehorn (E)
Assemble the Batty as follows:
1. Place the collar (A) on a flat surface with the
rim down.
2. Put the spindle end of the angled section (B)
into either of the slotted holes on the collar,
positioning it for right- or left-hand use
(assembly for right-hand use is illustrated).
3. Push the angled section into the hole
completely, and then rotate it until it locks
in place.
4. Push the middle section (C) onto the angled
section and rotate the locking lever to the
locked position (G). (H shows unlocked
position.)
5. Fit the handle (D) onto the middle section
and lock it in position.
6. The shoehorn (E) can be attached to the
middle section (C) by first detaching the
handle or angled section and then fitting
the shoehorn onto the middle section.

Care and Cleaning
The sock aid can be cleaned with mild
detergent and water.
