Please read these operating instructions carefully before using the product for the first
time and keep them in a safe place where you can find them whenever you need the
information contained in the instructions.

2. Conditions of use

If possible, the weighing should be done undressed. Please keep the weighing
conditions constant always at the same daytime.
By nature, a body is subject of fluctuations (for example loss of water after taking
exercise or after a sauna visit, after a meal, etc.). To enable comparable readings it is
important to take the weighing, if possible, always under the same conditions.
ADE does not assume liability for damages or losses, caused by the bathroom scales, or
for claims of third parties. This product is solely intended for private use. It is not
designed for professional use in hospitals or medical facilities.
2. Commissioning
Before first time use of the scales, please check at the beginning carefully if there are any
damages at the packing or at the device. Not on any account use the device if it is
damage. In this case, please immediately contact us. Our staff members willingly will help
you.
Safety guideline s:
The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
Place the scales on a plane and firm surface (tiles, hardwood
flooring, etc.) to avoid a wrong measurement on carpeted
floor.

Always stay in the centre of the scales to prevent the scales
tipping to the side.
Attention - Hazard of slips! Do not stand on the scales with
wet feet or on a slippery surface of the weighing platform.
Please care that no heavy object may fall on the scales. The
scales might become damage.
Clean the scales only by using a slightly damp cloth. Do not
use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents. Do not submerge
the scales under water.

3. Weighing function

1. At the rear of the scales, on the lower edge, there is a small rotary knob for
precisely setting the zero point. Please make sure that the hand of the scale reading
at no load shows exactly on the zero point.
2. Step on the centre of the scales. Remain stationary on the weighing platform and
do not hold you tight. After a few seconds, your weight will be displayed.

5. Warranty

ADE warrants for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase that it will remedy any
defects due to faulty material or workmanship free of charge by repair or replacement.
When purchasing, please have the warranty coupon signed and stamped by the dealer.
When making a guarantee claim, please return the bathroom scales together with the
guarantee card including the reason of complaint to your dealer.
