USING YOUR KITCHEN APPLIANCE
Assembly
11
Place the motor section on a flat surface, e.g. a
kitchen counter, and make sure it is standing firmly.
21
Check that the protective cover is fitted in the
accessory socket
31
Tilt down the arm release handle. The arm tilts
upwards.
41
Fit the lid onto the underside of the arm and turn it
slightly to the left, so that it locks into position.
51
Fit the mixing bowl in the recess on the motor
section base. Turn the mixing bowl
slightly clockwise, so it locks into
position.
61
First mount the splash guard on the
dough hook or the dough whisk (see
the pictures). Turn the accessory
clockwise until the metal pins lock
into position.
71
Then fit the desired accessory onto
the accessory shaft on the underside
of the arm.
o
The dough hook is used for
heavy dough, minced meat or
other demanding kneading jobs.
o
The dough whisk is used to mix
lighter types of dough.
o
The balloon whisk is used for whisking cream,
egg whites, etc.
Turn the accessory, so the pins on the shaft are
aligned with the depressions on the accessory's
top edge. Press the accessory up towards the arm,
turning it at the same time to the right so that the
pins slide into position, thus securely locking the
accessory in place. The accessory must not be
loose nor should you be
able to pull it free.
81
Lower the arm so that
it locks into place with
a click. The lid must fit
tightly onto the mixing
bowl. If not, it is fitted
incorrectly.
91
The appliance is now
ready for use.
Whisking, kneading and mixing
11
Connect the appliance. The indicator next to the
OFF button (g) lights up.
21
Start the appliance by pressing one of the 6 speed
buttons (a-f). Speed 1 (a) is the slowest and speed
6 (f) is the fastest. Recommended speeds, time
and capacity are shown in the table below.
31
Stop the appliance by pressing the OFF button
if you want to pause, for example to add more
ingredients.
41
If you need to scrape inside the mixing bowl, wait
until the accessory has stopped completely. Use
the spatula, never your fingers.
51
Switch off the appliance by pressing the OFF
button when you have finished mixing. Always
unplug the appliance before you change the
accessories or take the appliance apart.
