3 When the card is almost all the way into the slot, push
firmly, but gently, to ensure a firm connection with the
computer. Do not force the card into position.

Removing PC Cards

1 Stop the PC Card by clicking the Safely Remove
Hardware icon on the System tray. After the PC Card is
stopped, it is safe to remove.
2 Locate and press the PC Card eject button once to extend
it, and push it in to remove the PC Card.

3 Grasp the edges of the PC Card and pull it out of the slot.
Hot swapping
One of the great things about PC Cards is that you can
replace one PC Card with another while the computer is on.
This is called "hot swapping."
