Installing the batteries

Ensure that the unit is turned off (turn off the unit by pressing the button once.
The unit generates a double confirmation beep). Remove both screws and the
upper part of the enclosure.
Careful: Except for the batteries, do not touch any part of the
circuit. Certain parts carry a very low energy high voltage,
even when the unit has been turned off for a while. Touching
these parts can be an unpleasant experience.
Install the batteries. Mind the polarity.
Correct polarity is indicated in the battery compartiment. The unit generates a
single beep when the second battery is inserted. Position the knob, close the
enclosure and fasten the two screws. The unit is now ready for use.
Replace batteries when the unit no longer responds to the button, when it
no longer beeps or when the indicator led no longer blinks when the unit
has been turned on.
