3. Prepare the Connector

Temporarily install the plastic connector onto the lower two bolts
of the wall carrier.
Make a mark on the connector 10-1/2" (267 mm) +/- 1/8" (3 mm)
from the floor.
Remove the connector from the wall carrier.
Use painters tape to mark the height on the nearest vee-groove all
around the connector.
Cut the connector at the nearest vee-groove from the marked
height.
Deburr the inside and outside of the connector's cut edge.
