Al coser fruncidos o pinzas, puede levantar manualmente el hilo
inferior para que haya un cierto exceso de hilo.
1. Pase el hilo por la ranura del hilo en la dirección de la flecha y
déjelo allí sin cortarlo.
• La tapa de la canilla no debe estar colocada.
2. Mientras sujeta ligeramente el extremo del hilo superior, gire
lentamente la ruedecilla hacia la parte frontal (a la izquierda) una
vez con la mano para bajar y después subir la aguja.
3. Tire del hilo superior para levantar el hilo inferior.
4. Saque unos 10 cm (4") de ambos hilos y colóquelos en dirección
a la parte trasera de la máquina, debajo del prensatelas.

Lower Thread
When sewing gathers or darts, the lower thread can be manually
drawn up so that it will have some excess.
1. Pass the thread along the bobbin thread path in the direction of
the arrow, and leave it there without cutting it.
• The bobbin cover should still be removed.
2. While lightly holding the end of the upper thread, slowly turn the
handwheel to the front (counter-clockwise) once by hand to
lower and then raise the needle.
3. Pull on the upper thread to draw up the lower thread.
4. Pull out about 10 cm (4") of both threads and place them toward
the back of the machine under the presser foot.

Remontée manuelle du fil

Lorsque la couture fronce ou plisse, vous pouvez remonter manuellement
un excédent de fil de la canette.
1. Passer le fil le long du trajet du fil de la canette dans le sens de la flèche
et le laisser là, sans le couper.
• Le couvercle de la navette doit être retiré.
2. Tenir légèrement l'extrémité du fil supérieur, tourner lentement le
volant d'un tour vers l'avant (dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre)
à la main pour abaisser et relever l'aiguille.
3. Tirer sur le fil supérieur pour remonter le fil inférieur.
4. Tirer environ 10 cm des deux fils et les placer vers l'arrière de la
machine, sous le pied-de-biche.
