Assembly tool 1117 890 0900
Bottom:
Attaching brake spring to anchor pin
- Use the assembly tool to attach
the brake spring to the anchor
pin.
- Fit cover over the brake band.
- Fit the inner side plate.
- Install the clutch drum with rim
sprocket (or spur sprocket)
- see 3.1.

Top:
Inner side plate mounting screw
Bottom:
1 = Thrust pad
2 = Tensioner slide
- Remove chain sprocket cover.
- Remove mounting screw from
inner side plate and lift side plate
away.
- Use a screwdriver to turn spur
gear clockwise until tensioner
slide is at the extreme right
against the thrust pad.
Top:
1 = Retainer
2 = Mounting screw
Bottom:
1 = Spur gear
2 = Cover plate
- Pull out the retainer.
- Remove the cover plate mount
ing screw.
- Pull the cover plate off the spur
gear.
- Pull out the spur gear.
