• Pull the house wires through the wire
cover hole (1). Use wire clamp (optional).
• Pull a 4 in. circular duct (not provided)
through the large square opening.
Install the housing (A) to the joist using
one of the following two methods:
If spacing between the joists is 12 in.,
secure the bottom of the housing (A) to
the bottom of the joists through the drywall
using 4 screws (C).
If spacing between the joists is greater
than 12 in., secure either side of the
inside of the housing to the joists using
4 screws (C). Flange will be on bottom
side of drywall.
Connect all electrical wiring from service switch
to wiring from fan housing using wire connectors.
CAUTION
switch do not match wiring from fan housing,
you must determine what each wire represents
before making wire connections. Consult an
electrical contractor if uncertain.
NOTICE
"hot". White wires are typically "common".
Green or bare copper wires are typically
"ground". Do proper electrical testing if
uncertain and/or consult an electrical
contractor. 14 AWG is the minimun gauge.
• Reinstall the junction box (1) into the
