Before First Use

1. Remove all packing materials and literature.
2. Wash the cooking surface by wiping with a sponge
or cloth dampened with hot water. Rinse and dry
thoroughly.
NOTE: Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
Do not immerse the pancake maker in water.

How to Operate

1. Plug the power cord into a wall outlet. Green
indicator light will turn on.
2. Allow the unit to preheat for 5 minutes before
cooking.
3. When the pancake maker is at its proper cooking
temperature the red light will turn on. Fill cooking
plates with a tablespoon of batter, close the lid,
and lock it into place. Follow suggested baking
time in your recipe.
NOTE: Do not overfill the cooking plate with batter.
4. Carefully remove the pancake from the unit.

How to Clean

1. Unplug the pancake maker power cord from the
wall outlet.

2. Allow the appliance to cool completely.
3. Wash the cooking surface with warm soapy water
using a sponge or soft cloth. Do not use abrasive
cleaners or scouring pads. Do not immerse the
unit in water.
4. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

HINTS AND TIPS

The Pancake Maker has a non-stick surface for
even baking and easy clean –up. A small amount of
oil can be added to the unit for additional flavor, if
desired. Cooking spray is not recommended as it
may harm the not-stick surface.
Pancake can be reheated in the microwave. Place
pancake on a paper towel. Microwave for a few
seconds only. Times will vary if pancake has been
at room temperature or if they are cold.
Pancakes can be baked ahead of time for snacks
and lunches. Prepare according to recipe. Cool on
a rack for 10 minutes. Place in the plastic bag and
seal tightly.
