MANIPULATION PROTECTION COVER

1. Bend the corner of manipulation protection cover a little and
2. move the cover away.
3. Before putting the manipulation protection cover back in its place, bend lightly the
sides of the cover together.
SETTING ELECTRICAL FUNCTION: FAIL LOCKED / FAIL UNLOCKED
1. Unscrew the fixing screw and pull out the changer.

2. Turn the changer around.
3. Put the changer back in its place and screw in the fixing screw. Please, make
sure, that the changer is straight and it fits tightly in the lock case.

When the arrows on the changer and the lock case are positioned as shown in the
figure, the electrical function is Fail locked:

figure, the electrical function is Fail unlocked:
CHANGING THE HANDING OF THE TRIGGER BOLT

Needed tool: Allen key 2 mm
1. Locate the trigger bolt screw-head on the case side of the lock case. Hold the trigger
bolt and screw the Allen screw clockwise about three cycles to move the Allen screw
inside the trigger bolt. Then pull out the trigger bolt.
2. Turn the trigger bolt around.
3. Put the trigger bolt back in its place and locate the trigger bolt screw-head on the
cover side of the lock case. Hold the trigger bolt and screw the Allen screw clockwise
until the Allen screw stops. Then screw the trigger bolt screw ½ of cycle counter-
clockwise.
4. Check the function of trigger bolt.
CHANGING THE HANDING OF THE LATCH BOLT
Needed tool: Allen key 2.5 mm

1. Unscrew the Allen screw of the latch bolt on the case side of the lock case and pull
out the latch bolt.
2. Turn the latch bolt around and put it back in its place.
3. Fix and tighten the Allen screw of the latch bolt on the cover side of the lock case.
4. Check the function of the latch bolt.
SETTING EXIT HANDLE SIDE (EL480)
Needed tool: Allen key 2 mm

1. Locate the exit handle screw-head below handle follower on the cover side of the
lock case. Screw the Allen screw counter-clockwise until it stops. Then screw the Allen
screw one cycle backwards (clockwise).
2. If it is needed to set the exit handle side back, screw the Allen screw clockwise until
it stops. Then screw the Allen screw one cycle back (counter-clockwise).
3. Check the function of handles.

- Power on -> Electrically controlled handle opens the lock.
- Power off -> Electrically controlled handle does not open the lock.
- Power on -> Electrically controlled handle does not open the lock.
- Power off -> Electrically controlled handle opens the lock
