Shooting with Servo AF

While the shutter button is pressed halfway, the focus and exposure will
continue to adjust, allowing you to take pictures of moving subjects without
missing a shot.
The camera may not be able to focus and exposure in some conditions.
If a correct exposure cannot be obtained, the shutter speed and aperture
value are shown in orange. Take your finger off the shutter button, then
press it again halfway.
You cannot shoot with the AF lock in this mode.
You cannot set the Servo AF mode if you have set the [AF-Point Zoom]
option in the 4 tab to [On].
Not available in Self-Timer (pp. 63, 64, 75, 76).
Choose [Servo AF].
Press the n button and choose
[Servo AF] on the 4 tab, and use the qr
buttons to choose [On].
Focus.
Focus and exposure will be maintained
where the blue AF frame appears while
you press the shutter button halfway.
If a face is not detected when AF Frame is
set to [Face AiAF], the AF frame will be
set to [Center].
