Cleaning

WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning the
appliance .
When cleaning, you must never immerse the motor unit 3 in water or

hold it under running water .

► The blade 5 is extremely sharp! Handle it with great care at all times .
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use aggressive, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents! They could
irreparably damage the surface!
NOTE
► We recommend that you clean the appliance immediately after use to
prevent food residue from drying and sticking onto the surfaces .
1) Remove the power plug from the socket .
2) Remove the blender 4 from the motor unit 3 . Turn the blender 4 far
enough so that the arrow q on the motor unit 3 points towards the
symbol and pull it off .
3) Clean the motor unit 3 with a moist cloth .
Ensure that no water gets into the openings of the motor unit 3 . For
stubborn dirt, add a little mild detergent to the cloth . Wipe off any
washing-up liquid residue with a damp cloth .
4) Clean the blender 4 thoroughly in soapy water, then rinse off the soap with
clear water .
5) Dry everything thoroughly and ensure that the appliance is completely dry
before using it again .

Storage

1) Clean the appliance as described in the section "Cleaning" .
2) Store the cleaned appliance in a clean, dust-free and dry location .
