VENTILATION REQUIREMENTS Range hoods must be ventilated to the outdoors, except for non-vented (recirculating) installations. Do not ventilate the range hood into an arric or other encloed areas. Do not use 4” (10.2 cm) laundry-type wall caps. The length of the range hood exhaust and the number of elbows should be kept to a minimum to provde maximum performance. -
