3-2. Special Notes on Repair Servicing
Be sure to protect the machine, especially the LCD, operation panel unit, scanner unit, and logic board, from static electricity in repair servicing.
(1) External housing, scanner unit, and document cover (FAU) removal

1) Remove the cassette.

2) Open the front door and scanner unit, then remove the front cover R.
