4.1 Routine and Preventive Maintenance

Replacing Fuses

WARNING!
To prevent the risk of fire, the main fuses should only be replaced with fuses of the same
type and rating. Recurring fuse failure indicates serious internal problems, if this occurs,
contact Elitech Group.

1 Power OFF the instrument.
2 Disconnect the power cord from the power outlet and the rear panel of the
instrument.
3 Open the fuse cover by inserting a screwdriver in the slot on the right side of
the cover and gently prying the cover out.
4 Pull the fuse holder out to inspect the fuses.
5 Replace the fuses if necessary.
6 Push the fuse holder in.
7 Close the fuse cover.
8 Reconnect the main power cord to rear panel of the instrument and to the
power outlet.
9 Power ON the instrument.
