CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before starting the cleaning,
always disconnect the plug from
the power outlet and wait dor the
plate to be completely cooled.
• For the external parts cleaning use a wet cloth.
Never wash the ironing system or the iron under running water
and do not immerse it in water or other liquids.
• After every use, clean the plate (9) when it's still hot letting it slide on a wet cloth placed
on the ironing board, bringing a little pressure.
Do not clean the steam iron plate (9) with corrosive or abrasive
products. Use ONLY specific products commercially available.
Cleaning the reservoir (2)
• After approximately 11 hours of total use, the cleaning indicator light (i) comes on to
signal that the lime scale must be cleaned from the boiler unit.
To keep the boiler unit clean (13):
- disconnect the appliance from its power source;
- remove the reservoir (2) and add a mixture of vinegar and water (ratio 1:
3), leaving it to work for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then empty the reservoir;
- add clean water and rinse 1 or 2 times.
Don't use chemical additives.
• At the end of cleaning, press and hold the button (c) for about 5 seconds; the indicator
light (i) goes out.
