OPERATION
Water temperature
• Immersed in the bath, the thermometer floats, with the display
on the surface, so you can read the information more easily.
• The thermometer automatically detects that it is in water: the
wave symbol appears.
• The alarm symbol and the red LED flash at the same time when
the water temperature is lower than 36°C or over than 38°C.
Two methods can be used to measure the water
temperature:
• "FLOAT" mode: the thermometer automatically measures and
displays the water temperature every 5 seconds as long as it
stays in contact with the water.
• "SCAN" mode: the thermometer measures and displays the
water temperature every second for 10 seconds. This mode is
recommended to check that the water is mixed well, to ensure
the temperature is the same everywhere.
• To use it, press the SCAN button for 1 second. The word "SCAN"
starts to flash at the top of the display for 10 seconds.
The temperature is measured and displayed every second.
• After the 10 seconds, the thermometer switches back into
"FLOAT" mode automatically.
From water temperature to room temperature
When the thermometer is taken out of the water, it automatically
switches to "Room Mode". The Water symbol and the
last temperature measurement flash at the same time for
10 seconds.
Room temperature
• The thermometer automatically measures and displays the tem-
perature of the bathroom and baby's bedroom.
• The room temperature is updated every 20 minutes.
• The alarm symbol flashes on the display when the room tempe-
rature is lower than 15°C or higher than 25°C.
• "SCAN" mode can be used to measure the room temperature
every second for 10 seconds. Refer to the instructions above at
"SCAN" mode.
• After 10 seconds in "SCAN", the thermometer automatically
switches back to room mode.
Countdown
• This function can be used in the water or in room mode.
• The countdown is 10 minutes, which is the optimum duration for
baby's bath.
• To activate it, hold down the SCAN button for about 3 seconds,
until the 10 minutes and clock symbol appear at the top of the
display.
• Once the 10 minutes is up, the green LED, figures and
clock symbol all flash at the same time for 15 seconds.
• To stop the countdown, hold the SCAN button down for about 3
seconds.
