2.3.1 Contact with Escaped Electrolyte
Evacuate all persons from the hazardous situation, and bring them all into a well-ventilated environment.
If there is the danger of the affected person becoming unconscious, place the person in the recovery
position before transporting them. Provide artificial respiration, if necessary. Anyone providing first aid
must always keep personal safety in mind.
Inhalation
Call first-aid responders and bring the affected person into fresh air.
Ingestion
Call first-aid responders. Thoroughly rinse out the affected person's mouth and have them drink a
great deal of water.
Eye contact
Call first-aid responders. Rinse the eye(s) of the affected person under running water for a minimum of
15 minutes, while holding the eyelids apart.
Skin contact
Remove the affected person's clothing and immediately wash the affected area of the body with soap
and large quantities of water.
2.3.2 Fires
Do not attempt to extinguish the energy storage module if it has already caught fire. Contact the
fire department and immediately evacuate the hazardous area.
• If possible without causing further harm or injury, switch off the energy storage system.

storage system catches fire.

Call first-aid responders and bring the affected person into fresh air.
Burns
Treat the burns. Call first-aid responders if necessary.
2.3.3 Damaged energy storage system
• Even if you merely suspect that the energy storage system is damaged, you should stop using it.
• If possible without causing further harm or injury, switch off the energy storage system.
•Contact your sales representative or installation technician.
• Avoid going near the damaged energy storage system.
