Cutting Head
Problem
Orifices do not last at least 20 hours
Nozzle Life too short or not wearing
round
Abrasive not drawing into head
properly
Can't unplug nozzle

Solution
Not flushing thoroughly when changing orifice
Bad water quality
Blown in-line filter upstream
In the A2 head rotate nozzle 120° every shift or 8 hours
Using too much abrasive.
Running with worn orifice.
Vacuum leak, check inlet tube connection
Smaller combinations such as .007/.020 may need to have
the nozzle lowered about ¼" to induce more vacuum
Put nozzle upside down in head and cycle jet on/off

Solution
Replace Valve
Seal kit.
Tighten inlet
fitting.
Tighten adapter to
valve body or
tighten inlet fitting
in collar.
Tighten Head to
Adapter.
Needle and Seat
are worn and need
new valve kit.
