  • Page 2 If any failure such as excessive wear, cracks, dents, leaks or scratches on any part or assembly is detected during execution of the steps described in this section this part must be replaced or contact Austro Engine GmbH.  In this manual the removal of only one stud bolt is described. It applies to all corresponding stud bolts.
  • Page 3 E4.08.04 Maintenance Manual MM-TR-MDC-E4-469 E4-Series 4.1.2 Preliminary work 4.1.2.1 In case T/C is installed  Remove engine cowling to gain unimpeded access to the T/C.  Remove soot and dirt from the working area if necessary.  Remove exhaust pipe if necessary.

  • Page 7 E4.08.04 Maintenance Manual MM-TR-MDC-E4-469 E4-Series 5. Remove stud bolt with nuts from clamping jaws and insert shorter thread side into corresponding thread hole of T/C turbine housing. 6. Tighten on second nut (green) to 40Nm or until both nuts turn on stud bolts.
