Description
The OptiX OSN 8800
provides for eight alarm
outputs. By default, the
first three alarm outputs
are defined as critical
alarm, major alarm, and
minor alarm. The other
five are reserved. Alarm
outputs can be cascaded.

Alarm Output Interface

The OptiX OSN 8800
provides for eight
housekeeping alarm inputs.
The user can manually
configure the severity of the
eight alarms for remote
monitoring of external
device alarms.

Alarm Input Interface
Cable.
CLK1/CLK2 interface can
input or output clock
signals. CLK1/CLK2
interface is bidirectional.
That is, they input and
output signals at the same
time.
TOD1/TOD2 interface can
input or output time signals.
At any time, a TOD1/TOD2
interface can either input or
output time signals.
