4. ASSEMBLY
4.1.
To fill/refill gas cartridge.(Note the gas cartridge is supplied empty)
4.1.1.
Tip the cartridge upside down and hold vertically.
4.1.2.
Using Butane gas charger (SCS035S) Shake well before use.
4.1.3.
Hold refill upside down over the cartridge.
4.1.4.
Push the nozzle firmly into the cartridge's refilling valve (positioned in the bottom) as far as it will go.
4.1.5.
Hold it steady for 3-5 seconds.
4.1.6.
Escaping liquid generally indicates that the cartridge is full.
4.2.
Ensure that the control knob is turned off (fully clockwise) before assembling.
4.3.
Keep the gas cartridge upright when fitting to the torch.
4.4.
Position the torch valve over the cartridge valve and carefully screw the cartridge into the torch, take care to avoid cross-threading.
WARNING! Do not over tighten as this can damage the cartridge valve and sealing services.
DO NOT check for leaks with a flame. Use soapy water only, applied to the joint of the heat gun and gas cartridge. Any leaks will show

up as bubbles around the leakage area. If you are in any doubt or if you can hear, see or small gas do not use heat gun . Remove gas
cartridge and contact your local stockist.
5. OPERATION
5.1.
Shake gas cartridge for a few moments.
5.2.
Turn the control knob anti-clockwise for 1/4 turn. Gas should now be hissing from the burner tube.
5.3.
Point the torch away from yourself and others, press the ignition button. This may take several attempts before ignition depending on
conditions.
5.4.
Adjust the flame by turning the control knob either clockwise (-) or anti-clockwise (+), full power should be achieved by turning the control
knob 1/2 turn anti-clockwise.
5.5.
To extinguish the torch, turn the control knob fully clockwise.
5.6.
Once the torch has cooled, unscrew the cartridge for storage.
Note: In cold conditions it is advisable to pre-warm the cartridge to room temperature before operation. HEAT GENTLY - DO NOT use a
heat source allow to heat up naturally in a warm room.
5.7.
The hand protector and base stand can be used to give a stable vertical heat source (fig.2).
6. ACCESSORIES
6.1.
Deflector nozzle is used for heat shrink tubing and other similar products.
6.2.
Heat Spreader can be used for applying heat activated films, shrink wraps,removing paint, caulking, and other materials.
6.3.
DO NOT use any attachments that are not specifically designed for this butane powered heat gun.

Window and Decorative Films, Car Wrapping, Heat Removal of various substances, Automotive Dent Repair, Window repairs, Thaw Frozen

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.
