Attach the assembled telescope to a photographic tripod using the 1/4x20 receptacle on the bottom of the tripod (Figure 5). The tripod is optional with the StarBlast 62. Orion offers the Paragon and the VersiGo tripods that are excellent choices to securely mount this telescope.
