ing. In case of damage, DO NOT use the equipment.

SAFETY SUMMARY
The following recommendations are made for the
safe use of the Rear Mounted Basket:
GENERAL WARNING
DO NOT install or use this equipment without
first reading and understanding these in-
structions. If you are unable to understand
the Warnings, Cautions or Instructions,
contact a healthcare professional, dealer
or technical personnel before attempting
to install this equipment - otherwise, injury
or damage may occur.
DO NOT lean over the top of the back
upholstery. This will change your center
of gravity and may cause you to tip over.
The rear mounted basket is rated for a
maximum capacity of ten (10) lbs.
INSTALLATION WARNING
After ANY adjustments, repair or service and
BEFORE use, make sure that all attaching
hardware is tightened securely.
The installation of the basket and basket
bracket onto the back of the scooter seat
increases the length of the scooter up to
nine (9) inches. When turning the scooter or
swiveling the scooter seat, it is important to
take note of this increased length - other-
wise, injury and/or damage to surrounding
property may occur.
INSTALLING THE REAR MOUNTED
BASKET (FIGURE 1)
NOTE: Installation of accessory will require the use of
mounting screw and locknut received with the scooter.
1. Install the basket bracket into the accessory tube.
2. Thread locknut on mounting screw until it touches
mounting screw head.
3. Install mounting screw and locknut onto accessory tube.
Tighten mounting screw securely to basket bracket.
4. Tighten locknut securely to accessory tube.
5. Align mounting clips on bracket with slots on basket
and slide basket down securely into position.
NOTE: To remove the rear basket bracket; reverse
