1. Charge the Verizon JetPack MiFi (Hotspot) device before using.

2. Make sure your computer, laptop or other remote device is turned on, plugged in

and charged.

3. Turn on the Hotspot (hold Power button for 3 seconds), Verizon on will appear on

the Hotspot screen. The Hotspot takes several minutes to power up.

4. Press the power button to toggle through menu options and find the hotspot's

name and password.

5. On your computer, hover over the bottom task bar on the right hand side of the

screen (by clock), select Wi-Fi (A) and then click on the Wi-Fi box (B).

• Hotspot device

Page 2 6. A pop up menu should appear. Click on your Hotspot’s name. It will start with Verizon MiFi (for example Verizon MiFi8801L-987C). (C). 7. The first time you connect to the Wi-Fi Hotspot on your computer, you will be prompted to enter a code number. The code number will appear on the Hotspot’s screen.
