5. Installing the unit

Before installing the INGECON EMS Manager the packaging must be removed, taking special care not to damage
the casing.
Check that there is no condensation inside the packaging. If there are signs of condensation, you must not install
the unit until you are sure it is completely dry.
All installation operations must comply with current regulations.

5.1. Environment

These units are not designed for outdoor installation.
Place the device in a place that is accessible for installation and maintenance work and that allows for
the reading of the front indicator LEDs.
Avoid corrosive environments that may affect the correct working order of the INGECON EMS Manager.
Never place any object on top of the device.

5.2. Supporting Surface and Fastening

INGECON EMS Manager must be placed on a perfectly vertical wall or, in its absence, on a wall with a slight
gradient of (maximum) +80º or -80º.
Reserve a solid wall to which to attach the unit. It must be possible to drill the wall and fit suitable wall plugs and
bolts to support the unit's weight.

5.3. Attaching the unit to the wall

Attach the fastening plate to the wall using stainless steel fixtures and connect the unit to it.
Lastly, check that the unit is properly secured.
