C-PEN (C900W) – User guide RIEF INTRODUCTION The C-PEN™ C900W™ is a portable scanning pen which reads printed text out loud using an embedded camera, a real-time optical character recognition (OCR), and natural voice text to speech (TTS). C900W also features wifi support, text translation service, and embedded dictionaries.
Scanning& Optical Character Recognition C900W is a text scanner with which it is possible to scan words, lines or paragraphs. Push the front of the pen towards the paper to activate scanning by pressing down the Scan trigger (#18) and move the pen along the text line to capture text.

Connectivity C900W supports WIFI and USB connection. WIFI is primarily used to connect to internet in order to leverage on online resources and USB is used for direct connection to computers as well as charging of the built-in rechargeable battery.
