c) Testing the Internal Impedance of a LiPo

Switch on the multi-monitor with the on/off switch (figure 1, item
1).
Wait until the multi-monitor has initialised and the start-up display
"Voltage" is displayed. Press and hold the function button (figure
1, item 3) for a few seconds.. The display indicates "I.R.M." (also
see figure 5).
Push out the measuring contacts for internal impedance measure-
ment with the small lever at the bottom of the multi-monitor (figure
1, item 5).
Connect two contacts of the balancer connection of the battery to
be measured to the measuring contacts for internal impedance
measurement (figure 4) with the multi-monitor.
Observe correct polarity. The minus pole of the battery
cell be connected to the top contact (see figure 4).
In case of polarity reversal, the display will show a
warning and the integrated buzzer sounds.
