MOUNTING GUIDE

1
SAO DISPENSER
The screw size is a #12 X 1 ½" hex washer head tapping screw.
You will need a 8mm socket, there is a plug that needs to be put in after drilling the hole with a ¼" drill bit. The dispenser mounting
holes (2) on the bottom measures 8 ½" center to center of the holes. This is for the inside holes that are shaped like a horseshoe
so the dispenser can be propped on these two screws for better handling during installation.
The top measures 11" center to center of the holes. It's suggested that the top holes are marked after the two on the bottom have
already been secured to the wall. The dispenser can then be set on the bottom screws and the top two holes can now be marked
for drilling. The holes from top to bottom measure 22 5/8" center to center.
2
CARTRIDGE
The cartridge bracket top holes measures 3 3/16" center to center, the bottom two are 3 ½" center to center and 5 1/8" from top to
bottom center to center. The screw size is #8 X 1 ½"drill size for the plug is 3/16", and the screw measures 1 ¼" long.
POWER CORD
Power cord measures at 10' in length.

• Do not connect the dispenser to any water source other than municipally treated water.
• To reduce the risk of fire, do not install the dispenser near any burner, heater or cooking appliance.

• Do not open the dispenser as this will void the warranty – contact your supervisor or call Tersano for repairs or assistance if required.
• Do not use the dispenser if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if a very strong ozone odor is present.
• Do not try to repair the dispenser yourself – this will void your warranty.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
FOR INDOOR WALL MOUNT & DRY LOCATIONS ONLY
1.
For correct installation, choose a location where both the dispensing box and cartridge tube will be affixed directly
over a sink or a floor drain.
2.
Carefully remove all of the items from the cartons.
3.
Remove mounting hardware and mounting template from plastic packages.
4.
Affix the mounting template to the wall with tape. Drill the holes in the wall where indicated on the template.
5.
Insert the #12 anchors into the 4 holes drilled for the dispenser. Attach the dispenser to the wall using the four #12 - 1 ½"
wallmount screws in the top and bottom. Not to be mounted on mobile devices, hand carts, etc.
6.
Insert the #8 anchors into the two holes drilled for the cartridge bracket. Attach the cartridge bracket to the wall using the
two #8 - 1 ½ " screws.
7.
Once brackets are mounted, hang the cartridge and insert the blue desiccant filter into the front of the dispenser until
it snaps into place.
8.
Facing the cartridge, attach the quick disconnect end to the blue color fitting on the bottom left side connection of the cartridge.
Attach the opposite end (the white pressure regulator) of the hose onto the cold water supply (3/8" hose bibb).
9.
Attach connector hose (with the screen filter) supplied to the right side outlet on the cartridge and attach opposite end to
COLD WATER IN on the dispenser (white color fittings into grey).
10. Ensure that the water flow is at minimum 4L/minute. This can be checked with a simple water pressure testing gauge
available at most hardware stores. NOTE: If greater than 65 PSI, a water pressure regulator will be required.
11. Attach hose with yellow handle to SAO SOLUTION OUT on the dispenser's barbed fitting - clamp is not required.
12. Connect only to a circuit that is protected by a ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI).
NOTE
• Tersano is not responsible for ANY damages if the Tersano unit is not installed as instructed in the steps above and/or if
water is left on to the dispenser while not in use or being attended.
• Dispenser to be installed vertically as shown in the picture never horizontally. Doing so will damage the dispenser.
• The new hose-sets supplied with the appliance are to be used, old hose-sets should not be reused.
• Failure to follow the above installation instructions will void the warranty.
