Software summary

In order to understand the requests of operating device and driver for the software, the user should read
this chapter carefully before using Nokia 3806 AMS tool.

Software utilization

Insert dongle
AMS has two function modes: Bload mode and General mode. When in Bload mode, the handset must
be working in Bload mode. When in general mode, the handset must be working in power up mode.
Bload mode only has one type: Download.
General mode includes seven types: Download, PRI Operation, Display Capture, Label Printing, RF
Backup, RF Calibration and Write NV.

Installation

Follow the steps below to install Nokia 3806 AMS tool successfully:
1. First, install Phone driver and Dongle driver separately.
