    Making copies How to copy You can use your machine as a copier, making up to and 99 copies at a time. Making a single copy Load your document. Press Mono Start or Colour Start. Making multiple copies You can make up to 99 copies. Load your document.

    To use the machine safely Please keep these instructions for later reference and read them before attempting any maintenance. WARNING There are high voltage electrodes inside the machine. Before you clean the inside of the machine, make sure you have unplugged the power cord from the electrical socket. Doing this will prevent an electrical shock.

    Cleaning the machine printer platen WARNING Unplug the machine from the electrical socket before cleaning the printer platen (1). Clean the machine printer platen (1) and the area around it, wiping off any scattered ink with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.

    The machine cleans the print head. When cleaning is finished, the machine will go back to standby mode automatically. Note If you clean the print head at least five times and the print has not improved, call your Brother dealer.
