Electromagnetic compatibility

Cheffy Plus was designed to meet the current electromagnetic compatibility requirements. In any case, if you suspect
that the operation of the device interferes with the normal operation of your television, radio or any other electrical
appliance try to relocate the device until the interference disappears, or connect the device to a different outlet.
Disposal
In compliance with Directive 2012/19/EC, the symbol printed on the device shows that the device being
disposed of is considered waste and must therefore be an item of ''separate collection'' . Consequently, the
user must take it (or have it taken) to the designated collection sites provided by the local authorities, or turn it
in to the dealer when purchasing an equivalent new device. Separate waste collection and the subsequent treat-
ment, recycling and disposal procedures promote the production of devices made with recycled materials and
limit the negative effects on the environment and on health caused by potential improper waste management.
Unauthorised disposal of the product by the user shall result in the application of administrative penalties, as per
article 50 and the subsequent revisions of Italian Legislative Decree no. 22/1997.
-Check that the battery charging operations have been performed cor-
rectly. If the device does not work, contact an authorised service centre
to replace the internal battery.
- Place the suction tip (3) of the device on the air inlet of the container
lid or on the bottle stopper by pressing slightly downwards on the lid or
stopper.
- Leave more space (1 to 3 cm) between the contents and the top of the
jar or container.
- If liquids leak out during the vacuum packing phase,
remember that they must first be chilled in a refrigerator and not at
room temperature
- Check that the edge of the jar, or of the container and the universal lid,
are not damaged in the sealing area. Clean the edge, lid and gasket thor-
oughly with a lukewarm cloth and apply vacuum again.
- Check that the seal of the container lid or of the universal lid is placed
correctly in the right position and is not damaged.
- Make sure that the container lid knob is set on "VACUUM" before apply-
ing vacuum to the container and that it is set on "CLOSED" after vacuum
is applied.
- Check that the O-ring under the knob of the container lid or universal
lid is positioned correctly.
