time tends to gradually decrease and it is recommended to replace the battery. For this reason, it is advisable to
make the most of every recharge to optimise the battery life cycle.
- If you do not plan to use your Cheffy Plus for a long time, fully charge the battery for at least 4 hours before stor-
ing it. Remember to charge the battery every 3 months of inactivity so as not to damage it.
- When it is not used, always store your Cheffy Plus in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator) to prevent premature
battery aging.
- At least 24 hours before using it again or charging the batteries, allow the device to reach the operating tempera-
ture specified in the Technical Specifications paragraph.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before each use, carefully clean your device (if necessary) and the accessories in contact with food (con-
tainers, lids, jars, etc.) following the instructions supplied in the "CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS" paragraph.
This device can be used with the full range of MAGIC VAC accessories except for bags.

1. Charging the battery

a) Insert the power supply (1) into a socket corresponding to the voltage of
the device and charge the battery by inserting Cheffy Plus into its charg-
ing base as shown in the picture. The green LED switched on indicates
that the appliance is charging. A full charge takes about 4 hours.
b) Take the Cheffy Plus from the charging base and proceed with the desired
vacuum packing operations, following the instructions in the paragraphs
below.
c) After use, store the Cheffy Plus in its charging base as shown in the picture.
USE WITH THE VARIOUS CONTAINERS
IMPORTANT: Before performing the vacuum cycle, fill the containers leaving at least 3 cm of space from the up-
per edge of the same. Always make sure that the edge of the containers and the gaskets are clean and without
imperfections.
WARNING: Do not use plastic or glass containers that are not suitable as they can implode under vacuum and
cause injury. Use only original accessories.
2. MAGIC VAC® bottle stopper
The MAGIC VAC® Bottle Stopper (ACO1013) can be used to seal glass bottles, e.g. of still
wine or non-carbonated beverages. The Bottle Stopper will allow you to apply vacuum in
the bottle, maintaining the quality and taste for longer.
Proceed as follows:
a) Push the Stopper firmly into the bottle.
b) Place the suction tip (3) of the device on the suction hole pressing slightly down-
wards.
c) Press and hold the power button (2) until the blue light turns on (5), which indicates
that the vacuum value set on the device has been reached.
