ELECTRIC BISTOURY

7 - DIAGNOSTICS

If the output power level is too low when the appliance is set up to deliver
higher power levels, check that the neutral electrode is properly in contact
with the patient and properly connected to the appliance (incorrect
application or bad contact).
If the appliance fails to operate check the fuse at the rear (9, Fig. 1). If the
fuse must be changed refer to the specifications in the table in chapter 2
of this manual.
Before checking the fuse, set the main switch to 0 (OFF) and unplug the
mains power cable; check the condition of the fuse and replace if
necessary. Once the fuse cap has been refitted you can insert the power
cable plug into the mains socket outlet.
If malfunctions and faulty operation persist, unplug the appliance
and consult CARLO DE GIORGI.
