Duration of a charging process in practice The nominal capacity of M60 is equate to standard notebooks. When using a SUNLOAD solar panel 62 Wp (flexible and foldable) for a complete charging you need at least 3h provided that the sky is clear and the panel is orientated to the sun.

Usage It is only allowed to use the M60 within a temperature range of 0°C to 50°C. Out of this range the M60 switches off automatically. How to charge your M60 from wall socket You may use the included power adapter to charge the M60 device on the 100V - 240 V mains.
This results in an average additional solar yield of up to 20 percent as compared with systems without MPP-Tracking. When connecting make sure that polarity is correct if the panel is not a SUNLOAD product. The voltage reversal can damage your device.
25 % How to charge your M60 with a 12 V car battery You may use the included 12V car adapter cable to charge the M60 device by a 12V car battery. For charging by a 12V car battery only use the included 12V car adapter cable. Otherwise there may be safety risks or the M60 device may be damaged.
M60 will shut down immediately for safety reasons without giving any warning. The USB port of the M60 delivers a standardized 5 V charge at a max. of 1 A. The M60 does not support data exchange. If your device requires what is referred to as a ‘handshake’...
If several devices are connected to the M60, amounting to a continuous current in excess of 6 A, the M60 will emit a continuous tone. Disconnect one or more of the devices to resolve the overload. Otherwise the device may shut down for safety reasons.
How to charge NiMH batteries (AA, AAA) in the accu box Standard NiMH AA and AAA accus can be inserted into the accu box of the M60. Each charging unit can then be individually controlled and monitored. Up to four accus can be charged simultaneously regardless of the aforemen- tioned type of accu, its power status or capacity.

If the accu box is opened while accus are being charged, the charging process is interrupted. To finish the charging process wake up the M60 if necessary from the energy saving mode by press and release the main button ON.

Description accu box indicator A green flashing light indicates that your accus will be charged. A continuous green light means that the relevant accu is fully charged. A continuous red light (it may take a few minutes for the charge regulator to detect a problem) means that the accu is faulty (it can no longer be charged) or that a dry-cell battery has been inserted (this is not permitted).

Before replacing the internal battery shut off the M60 and disconnect all devices. Than you only have to remove two screws from battery cover on the backside of the M60. Open the cover and remove the internal battery by unfastening the plug. To install the new battery proceed in inverse order.
