PROGRAMMING A CALL STATION EXTENSION
Buttons 1 to 7 can be programmed to select another zone or group of zones. The procedure
for programming each button is the same. To program a zone selection button (fig. 5):
1. Press and hold button 8 and the button to be programmed together for at least three
seconds (LEDs 1 to 8 flash).
2. Release the buttons (the LEDs continue flashing for half a second and then go out).
LED 8 remains flashing to indicate program mode.
Note: If any zone(s) are currently selected for the button to be programmed, they are indicated by
illuminated LEDs. They can be toggled off.
3. Select the required zone(s) from 1 to 6 by toggling the corresponding buttons 1 to 6 (the
LEDs next to the selected zone(s) illuminate).
4. Press button 8 to store the zone selection in the group 1 to 6 (the selected LEDs go out).
LED 8 remains flashing to indicate program mode.
Note: The buttons on a single Call Station Extension can also be programmed to activate zones 7
to 12. If any zone(s) in the group 7 to 12 have been previously selected, the corresponding LEDs are
illuminated.
5. Select the required zone(s) from 7 to 12 by toggling the buttons 1 to 6 respectively (the
LEDs next to the selected zone(s) illuminate).
6. Press button 8 to enter the zone selection in the group 7 to 12 (all LEDs go out).
Note: If zones 7 to 12 are not present in a system, press button 8 twice after programming for
zones 1 to 6.
7. Repeat the above procedure for all buttons to be programmed.
