ALISON 1. PRESENTATION We would like to congratulate you on your choice of the ALISON reverse osmosis unit. Water quality is steadily deteriorating. In response to this, we have manufactured this small and compact domnestic osmosis unit in order that you may have access to pure, balanced water of the highest quality. Share the pure water produced by your ALISON reverse osmosis unit with your family and friends and recommend them to install a unit in their homes.
ALISON 2. INTRODUCTION THE ALISON REVERSE OSMOSIS UNlTS OFFER YOU A BETTER QUALITY OF LlFE You will notice an improvement in the taste of your drinking water, and you can prepare better coffee, ice cubes and juices. Cooking with the purified water will improve the taste of food, and the water will be healthier for your children and good for your plants.
ALISON 2.3. WATER POLLUTION Water is becoming more and more polluted due to domestic, agricultural and industrial waste. Domestic waste (human waste, waste water, chemical cleaning products), which has increased considerably due to the growing number of towns and villages near the traditional courses of rivers, often ends up in natural aquifers.
The unit has been made with recyclable material. When the unit is scrapped, the electric power cable must be cut off. Never abandon the unit in the environment; it should be taken to a special material recovery centre where it can be recycled in accordance with the local regulations in force. The ALISON reverse osmosis unit is NOT a bacteriological unit that makes water drinkable. Do not connect with hot water (> 45°) In the case of the ALISON model, the pressure must be more than 3 kg/cm and less than 6 kg/cm .
ALISON 6. VIEWS OF ALISON AND ALISON-PUMP 7. OPERATION OF ALISON AND FLOWCHART The water coming from the public supply runs through connection kit (1) and flows through cut solenoid valve (2). From here goes to the water pre-treatment crossing a 5µ sediment filter(3) and two activated carbon filters (4 y 5), where the floating substances as well as chlorine and its byproducts are eliminated, together with some organics substances.

ALISON From there the water flows through the reverse osmosis module (6), where the semi-permeable membrane is placed. The pressure of the water coming from public supply against the membrane makes it possible the reverse osmosis procedure. On one side, the pure water, after flowing through the check valve (7) is sent to a storage tank (11) and in other side, the water with salts in excess and unwanted substances is sent to the drain (13).
ALISON 8. OPERATION OF ALISON-PUMP AND FLOWCHART Water flows through a connection kit (1) to a minimum pressure gauge (2) which stops the equipment if there is a cut in the public supply. Next, it flows through a cut solenoid valve (3), that closes the equipment when the storage tank is full.
ALISON 9. FRONT PANEL The front panel includes a button and four LEDs of different colour, which report about the status and events of the equipment. The blue led is always lighted on when the machine is plugged to mains. Otherwise there must be a power failure.
10. INSTALLATION OF ALISON AND ALISON-PUMP REVERSE OSMOSIS EQUIPMENTS Your ALISON and ALISON-PUMP reverse osmosis unitS rnust be fitted by an authorized technical service. Normally, the unit will be fitted under the kitchen sink or an adjoining piece of furniture. The work must be done as neatly as possible, leaving sufficient interconnection piping for its future maintenance.
ALISON 11. START UP OF ALISON SERIES Once the equipment has been installes, the start-up must be accomplished. To do this, follow these procedure: 1- Remove the covers: With the aid of a flat screwdriver, insert the tip of it in the slot of the assembly clips (white colour), and pull down.

ALISON Pull out the Front Cover partially and unplug the connector from the LEDs PCB attached to it. Once it has been unplugged, pull out the Front Cover completely. LEDs PCB Connector Purge of carbon filters: Unplug the feed to the membrane container and the outlet tubo from the carbon pre-filter, and take it to the kitchen sink or to a bucket, opne the water inlet tap and plug to the mains.

ALISON 11. Close the storage tank, and open again the public supply inlet. Wait 15 minutes and check that there a no leakages in the pluggings. If there are leakages, seal with teflon tape tightening by hand. Now the stop by the pressure of storage tank can be adjusted. This must be done in the maximum pressure gauge with a nº...
ALISON 12. MAINTENANCE It is important that the maintenance of your unit is carried out by an official ALISON service, which will use original replacement parts and will offer you a maintenance contract and a service guarantee. Any handling of the unit or use of a non-original replacement part by a company or person other than our distributors shall invalidate both the guarantee carried by the ALISON unit and your official distributor's guarantee.
ALISON 15. EFFECTS OF PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE ON REVERSE OSMOSIS The rejection percentage of the membrane is normally 95% of salts, but when there are differences in the quality of the water, its temperature or pressure, this percentage may vary.
The parts which have been replaced within the warranty are held in property by IONFILTER . The validity of the warranty starts in the date of purchase. For any claim within the warranty period it is required the purchase invoice. If any problem is reported during the warranty period, get in touch with your Dealer to replace immediately the defective part and ensure the correct operation of the equipment.
