4.3. OPERATION AND USE
Relay 10-837 has a potentialfree relay output and an input gate. The relay output closes (if normally
open = NO) or opens (if normally closed = NC) the contact if the programmed control function is sent
on the Niko Access Control bus. The contact remains closed or opened until the set switch time of
the relay output has expired. The input gate sends a command on the Niko Access Control bus when
closing or opening (programmable). The input gate can also activate the own relay output.
Programming possibilities (manual)
- setting switch time: from 0,5 to 128s.
- output relay can be activated by:
- a call from a floor bell push button
- a call from a bell push button of an external unit
- an internal call to an internal unit
- a call (at the external unit) of the own serial number
- the own input gate
- the door open key of an internal unit
- the beginning of a speech connection
- a control function together with the serial number of the resp. internal unit or bus interface
module
- using the input gate:
- as NO contact in order to put an arbitrary command on the Niko Access Control bus (eg.
control function)
- to close the own relay output
Remark:
The output of the relay can be activated by only one bus command. It is impossible to combine
several programmings for the relay output!
