5. memory FunCTIons
- press the «m» button after switching on the thermometer. you can
memorise up to 19 temperature readings. the «m» symbol appears to the
right of the temperature reading.

- When the thermometer is switched on, press the
deactivate the sound. the screen should show the

cHaNGING batterIes

• every time you switch on your thermometer, it analyses the battery level.
When the battery starts to show signs of weakness, the
appears.
• replace the batteries as soon as possible, but you can still continue to
use the device.
• When the batteries are at their lowest level, the
the word «lo» appears. the device switches off automatically. you must
replace the batteries to take new readings.
• remove the batteries if the device is not used for a long period of time.
• Do not discard the batteries with household waste. Dispose of them at an
appropriate collection point.
cleaNING aND maINteNaNce
• the thermometer's probe and lens are the most delicate parts and must
be kept clean and intact to ensure precise readings.
• to clean the infrared lens, use a cotton cloth which has been dipped in
water or 70° alcohol and rub gently.
• use a dry cotton cloth to clean the body of the thermometer.
• Do not use abrasive products.
calIbratIoN
• the thermometer is initially calibrated at the time of manufacture. if this
thermometer is used according to the use instruction, periodic re-adjustment
is not required. if any time your question the accuracy of measurement,
please contact distributor or manufacturer.

• the thermometer's probe is water-resistant and must be cleaned with a
disinfectant wipe or with cotton wool dipped in alcohol.

• the body of the thermometer is not water-resistant. Do not soak it in liquid
and clean it with a dry cloth.
• avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures, for example sunlight
in a car.
• avoid violent shocks and do not drop the product.
• avoid direct contact between fingers and the tip of the probe
• Do not try to disassemble the product
• Do not take readings less than half an hour after a meal, exercise, a bath
or time spent in a particularly hot or cold environment.
• Wait at least one minute between readings, or you may notice slight
variations.
• a person's body temperature corresponds to an average value. there is
no absolute standard for body temperature. the best way to proceed is
to take your temperature under normal conditions and to use this reading
as a reference for assessing whether you have a fever.
• When the room temperature falls outside the optimum temperature range,
between 16°c and 40°c, an error message «err» appears.
