Piega P-1 Operating Instructions

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
P-1 SUBWOOFER
Do not position your SW near a Swiss Swatch or your Television. The woofer
drivers use extremely powerful magnets which can cause damage to the
screen and electronics.
The PIEGA P-1 should be positioned in accordance with the following guide-
lines:
We recommend that the P-1 be placed behind and to the outside of your

main music speakers, preferably on the right near the corner. We
recommend the right because it is the side in an orchestra that the bass
istruments are typically located. Avoid placing the subwoofer in the midd-
le of any wall
For Video applications you may place the P-1 in the front or the back of

the system.
In a dual woofer system, you can place one P-1 in front and one P-1 in

the rear to increase the "surround effect" in your video system.
As recommended above for the music system setup avoid placing the P-

1 in the middle of any wall.
Make sure you do not plug the P-1 into a switched AC outlet.

Please consult your PIEGA dealer for assistance for further recommen-

dations for optimizing your video sound system.
When using the Dolby AC-3 system, you should connect the dedicated SW
output of the processor to the yellow RCA (cinch) input of the P-1.
