8.5.4 Connector for Optional Power supply

The connector jacket for the power supply connection is located on the right side of the
instrument. Use it only together with a certified power supply. An input voltage that is too high
will destroy the instrument.

8.6 Accessories

• Connector power supply SV 54, different line plug styles available
• Magnetic shielding chamber NK 1 (included with instrument). Used for the Zero
adjustment of standard probes
• Large magnetic shielding chamber (optional). Used for the Zero adjustment of high
sensitivity probes
• Operating instructions FH 54 Gauss-/Teslameter, German
• Operating instructions FH 54 Gauss-/Teslameter, English
• HS-TGB5-104005, standard transverse probe
• HS-AGB5-4805, standard axial probe
• Other Hall probes: ask for data sheets or refer to www.magnet-physik.de

8.7 Taking Out of Operation

Switch off the device. Unplug the probe, the interface cable and the AC adapter if applicable.
You should remove the batteries from the FH 54 if the device will not be used for a longer time.
This will avoid damage due to leaking batteries. Put the device and the probe into the storage
case. Store the case in a safe place under suitable environmental conditions. It is advisable to
register the date of the last operation.
Important!
To prevent any possible environmental pollution or violation of environmen-
tal regulations, only a specialized company should carry out disposal.
