Visor-Lock Function
While wearing the helmet, close the visor and press the Double Action button as shown in
Fig. C.
In this position, the closing mechanism on the visor is strengthened so that it will not open
accidentally, even at high speeds.
To deactivate the visor lock, press the button as shown in Fig. B to bring it back to the neu-
tral position.
Warning! When using the helmet, it is recommended that you limit your use of the visor-lock
function, since unexpected events may require you to open your visor immediately.
Warning! In the event of an emergency, the Double Action visor lock may be disabled by lif-
ting the visor as normal, and pressing slightly harder than usual on the visor flap.
• WIND PROTECTOR (Fig. 4A - 4B)
This accessory allows improved helmet performance under certain conditions of use.
The Wind Protector reduces unpleasant infiltrations of air under the chin.
See Fig. 4A - 4B for the assembly and disassembly.
• RACING EXPERIENCE - INNER COMFORT PADDING
To remove and/or reassemble the inner comfort padding, lift the VPS (Fig. 10A).
1 DISASSEMBLY OF THE CHEEK PADS
1.1 Unfasten the wind protector (Fig. 4A and 4B).
1.2 Open the chin strap (see specific instructions) and pull the front part of the left cheek
pad towards the inside of the helmet to release the 2 snap fasteners on its rear (Fig. 5).
1.3 Release the liner's left rear snap fastener on the support near the neck-ring area (Fig. 7)
and free the elastic loop on the rear part of the cheek pad from the liner's fastener (Fig. 6).
1.4 Remove the left cheek pad from the helmet, removing the rear plastic support from the
cavity between the polystyrene cheek pad and the outer shell; finally, remove the left
chin strap from the slot in the cheek pad.
1.5 Repeat these steps with the padding of the right cheek pad.
Note: It is not necessary to remove the polystyrene cheek pads with the locking holes
for the snap fasteners for the pads from the helmet shell.

LINER REMOVAL

2.1 Release the liner's rear snap fasteners on the support near the neck-ring area (Fig. 7).
2.2 Hold the left front part of the liner and pull it upwards in order to remove the liner flap
from the support fixed to the polystyrene inner shell (Fig. 8), then repeat the same steps
for the right front and central front flaps.
2.3 Completely remove the liner from the helmet.

LINER ASSEMBLY

3.1 Insert the liner correctly into the helmet and fit it well against the base.
3.2 Insert the left front flap into the seat on the support fixed to the polystyrene inner shell
and push it slightly downwards until it is completely locked (Fig. 8), then repeat the same
steps for the right front and central front flaps.
NOTE: Check the correct assembly of the front part of the liner by lifting and lowering
the VPS (Fig. 10A and 10B). These movements should be smooth. If this is not the case,
repeat the steps from 2.2 to 3.2.
3.3 Hook the elastic loop on the rear of the cheek pad onto the liner's left rear snap faste-
ner, then push down the fastener onto the seat in the neck-ring area of the shell until you
hear it click shut (Fig. 6). Repeat the same steps for the right rear snap fastener.
4 CHEEK PAD ASSEMBLY
4.1 Insert the band and the left chin strap into the slot of the left cheek pad.
4.2 Insert the rear plastic support of the cheek pad into the cavity between the polystyrene
cheek pad and the outer shell, positioning it under the shell sealing edge.
